JOSHUA DESIDERIO IS ONE OF OPM'S FAMILIAR VOICES. KNOWN FOR HIS DISTINCT HUSKY GRAVELLY VOICE, AND EMOTIONAL PERFORMANCE STYLE. He is a Filipino singer, songwriter, and music producer from Metro Manila.
Desiderio began studying music at 8 and writing songs at 15. At 16, he formed and fronted Kindred Garden. In 1997, the band's song "Pangako," which Desiderio wrote and composed, appeared on the soundtrack of the Philippine film Flames: The Movie (Star Cinema) and became a nationwide hit. Kindred Garden later rebranded as K24/7, a prominent R&B group of the era.

In 2005, he joined Freestyle, one of the Philippines' most recognized and enduring pop and R&B bands, as a vocalist and keyboardist. He contributed to the platinum certified album Live at 19 East, on which his rendition of "Half Crazy" became a standout track. After 15 years with the band, Desiderio departed in 2020.
In 2026, he founded House Seventwo, an independent creative production house and record label, with his daughter Aaliyah Desiderio. The venture launched Soul Piano Man: Live at AA360 Studio, a live session series in which Desiderio sits at the piano, his primary instrument during his Kindred Garden years, and revisits the songs that shaped him.
